Operation Sceptre knife sweep

Today PCSO Rawson and PCSO Furmidge have been at the Eckington Civic Centre with the Amnesty bin.
Shortly after this they visited Bluebell Café Park conducting a knife sweep as part of Operation Sceptre. We are pleased to report that no knives or sharp instruments were found.
They have attended at various times throughout the evening and have not witnessed any issues.

Please remember that signage at the location states that no children should be on site after dusk. If you are aware that your children may be going there during these times, we would ask that you please speak with them and help prevent this where possible.

Officers will also be conducting further knife sweeps in other areas as part of Operation Sceptre. If you see them out and about, please say hello
